OverHeard is a demand-intelligence web app operated by Pixlr Pte. Ltd. ("Pixlr", "we", "us"), registered at 36 Robinson Road, #20-01 City House, Singapore 068877. This Cookie Policy explains how we use cookies and similar technologies on the OverHeard website and app. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which describes more fully how we handle personal data.
The short version: OverHeard uses essentially one cookie. We do not use advertising, analytics, or third-party tracking cookies, and we do not sell personal data.
What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to store on your device. On a later visit, the browser sends the cookie back to the site that set it, which lets the site recognise your browser. Cookies set by the site you are visiting are called "first-party" cookies; cookies set by other domains are "third-party" cookies. A cookie marked "HttpOnly" cannot be read by scripts running in the page, which helps protect it from certain kinds of attack.
The cookies we use
OverHeard sets a single, strictly-necessary first-party cookie that keeps you signed in after you log in with your email and the 6-digit code or magic link we send you. (We do not use passwords.)

What we do not use
We do not use advertising cookies, analytics cookies, or third-party tracking cookies, and we do not embed third-party advertising or tracking pixels. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use cookies to build advertising profiles or to track you across other websites.
Some features of the service rely on trusted third-party processors (for example, Stripe handles payments and AI providers help classify and draft content). The way those processors operate may involve cookies that are strictly necessary to deliver their part of the service; this is described in our Privacy Policy. We do not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies through them.
Local storage on your own device
Separately from cookies, OverHeard may use your browser's localStorage to remember an in-progress content plan or search on your own device, so your work is not lost if you reload the page. localStorage is not a cookie and is not transmitted to our servers; it stays in your browser until you clear it.
Consent
Because OverHeard uses only strictly-necessary cookies, no cookie consent banner is required, and we do not ask you to opt in to tracking. The oh_sess session cookie is essential to provide a service you have asked for (signing in to your account), so it is set without separate consent.
How to clear or block cookies
You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers let you view stored cookies, delete them individually or all at once, and block cookies from some or all sites. Look in your browser's settings under "Privacy", "Cookies", or "Site data". You can also use private or incognito browsing, which typically discards cookies when you close the window.
Please note that the oh_sess cookie is required to stay signed in. If you block or delete it, you will be signed out and will not be able to log in or use account features until it can be set again.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the technologies we use or in legal requirements. When we make material changes, we will revise the "Last updated" date shown at the top of this page. Your continued use of OverHeard after an update takes effect means you accept the revised policy.
